COMPUTER SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Datawiz Corporation is currently seeking a Computer Support Specialist for our corporate office.   The Computer support specialist will be responsible for hardware and software support and network administration and the responsibilities will include:

Perform hardware and software moves, adds, and changes               

  •  Answers questions over the phone and in person regarding PC operations and software including:
  •  M/S Windows XP, MS Office, IE and Exchange E-mail
  • High-level MS Windows 2000 / 2003 Server administratio
  • High-level MS Windows Active Directory User administration
  • High-level Network operations/troubleshooting
  • High Internet Usage
  •  Provide user support - hardware and software. 
  •  Heavy customer interface.
  •  Responsible for planning, purchasing, installing, troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software and networks.
  •  Provide end user training on basic computer operations, MS Applications, Internet usage.
  • Ability to learn quickly and participate in other projects and duties as needed.
  •  Contact vendors for technical support and systems/parts replacement.
  •  Complete required documentation related to services, inventory maintenance, and repair history recording.

Professional  Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows XP & 2000, MS Office, Exchange 2003 and Internet use
  • Ability to perform basic hardware troubleshooting, updates and modifications
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and organize activities
  • Must possess the ability and flexibility to work extra hours and weekends as needed
